First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Nigeriaâ€™s most valuable bank brand through its First@arts initiative has partnered the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) to hosting the on-going COSON Week 2015. This partnership is in line with the Bankâ€™s initiative to drive perception change, grow brand affinity among the youth and the upwardly mobile segment with great support for capacity building in the creative and performing arts industry. This yearâ€™s COSON Week which kicked off on Sunday, November 1 is scheduled to run till Saturday, November 7, 2015.
The COSON Week 2015 which will attract leaders and key players in the nationâ€™s entertainment industry promises to raise-the-bar of entertainment in Nigeria.Â In his words, the COSON Chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji said â€œCOSON was established to put value to the intellectual property rights of Nigerian artistes and others who invest in the music industry. Lagos will be lit up for seven days in a myriad of colours, and each of the seven back-to-back events will leave Nigerian entertainment lovers with an unforgettable experienceâ€.

A line up of key activities to mark the on-going week include the COSON Green Ball slated for Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Muson Centre, Lagos and COSON Song Awards which will hold on Friday, November 6, 2015 at the New Expo Hall, Eko Hotel & Suite, Victoria Island, Lagos.
