First Bank of Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of FBN Holdings PLC and Nigeria’s Best Banking Brand for the fourth time in a row, has again demonstrated its commitment towards the promotion of creative enterprise in the entertainment sector, through partnership with Nemsia Solutions to unveil a new and exciting TV Drama Series themed ‘B4 30’. The new TV series is centered around four women living in Lagos and the pressures they face to be married before they turn 30, with ripples of their daily interactions covering various social, physical, economic, religious and cultural aspects of the Nigerian woman.
FirstBank’s support for the series is hinged on its drive to promote gender inclusion in the polity whilst empowering women to achieve more, in spite of societal odds. With a reputable Youth Engagement Programme, the Bank is focused on building sustainable support for the financial services needs and long term aspirations of young people to engender creativity and aptitude among the youth.
The movie stars include Damilola Adegbite, Beverly Naya, Meg Otanwa, Anee Icha, O.C Ukeje, Gideon Okeke, Karibi Fubara, Patrick Diabuah, Patrick Doyle, Zainab Balogun, Tunbosun Aiyedehin, Vimbai Mutinirhi, Kenneth Okoli and more. This is in tandem with FirstBank’s unwavering commitment to continue to deliver the gold standard in value and excellence.
In a statement ascribed to Mrs. Folake Ani-Mumuney, FirstBank’s Group Head, Marketing and Communications, “B4 30 has the undertones of gender inclusion, a notion that we are actively pursuing under our corporate responsibility and sustainability program. It is youthful and contemporary and therefore ties into our ongoing youth engagement programme which has continued to add value to our brand outlook and in the last few years”
FirstBank is particularly interested in Arts and Culture and has established First@Arts as a sponsorship platform dedicated to providing support to arts and culture events. The Bank has supported several theatrical performances, dance and drama events as well as carnivals under this platform.
